吉米：Wow！春天来了，到处都是绿色。我是一只三趾鸥，住在北方海边，我的朋友，一只住在成都的翠鸟邀请我来玩。
Jimmy: Wow, spring is in the air. I am a kittiwake from the northern coast of the earth. My friend, a kingfisher who lives in Chengdu, invited me to the city.
飞飞：哇，Jimmy！欢迎到成都！怎么样？刚来还适应吗？
Fei Fei: Hi, Jimmy! Welcome to Chengdu. Have you got used to the life here in such a short period of time?
飞飞：说真的，我甚至觉得我就是成都鸟！这里有很多漂亮的公园！
Jimmy: Frankly, I really think I'm a Chengdu bird! There are so many beautiful parks in the city!
飞飞：哈哈！我们成都正在建设公园城市，生态环境越来越好了。让我带你出去逛逛吧！
Fei Fei: Ha ha! Chengdu has been building itself into a park city, so its ecological environment is getting better and better. Let me show you around the city.
吉米：迫不及待！
Jimmy: Woah, I can’t wait to go out and look around.
飞飞：这里是龙泉山城市森林公园，也是世界最大的城市森林公园。总面积有1275平方公里，差不多179个足球场大小！
Fei Fei: This is Longquan Mountain Urban Forest Park, the largest one of its kind in the world. It covers 1275 square kilometers, almost the size of 179 football fields!
吉米：什么！也太棒了吧！这就像一个城市绿色心脏！
Jimmy: What? It's so great! It’s really like the green heart of the city.
飞飞：是的，龙泉山城市森林公园已经很棒了，但人们还在继续拓展它的面积，种植了更多植物。很多同伴都来这里安家，到时候可以一起玩耍呢!
Fei Fei: Yes. It has already been so great, but the people here are still expanding it and growing more plants and trees inside. More and more friends are coming here, and we can play with them in the future.
吉米：真棒。但是，这里有熊猫吗？
Jimmy: So cool! Is there any giant panda here?
飞飞：成都是大熊猫故乡，如果你想近距离接触熊猫，我就带你去大熊猫繁育基地看看吧！
Fei Fei: You know Chengdu is the hometown of the giant panda. If you want to take a close look at pandas, we can go to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding to see the black and white bears.
飞飞：看吧，这就是大熊猫繁育研究基地扩建区，今年1月1日才刚开放。现在，成都熊猫基地有许多新场馆开放，截至1月已经有43只大熊猫入住新家啦！还有网红地标建筑——长得像竹笋的熊猫塔！
Fei Fei: Look! This is the extension of the panda base. It just opened on January 1st. Many new buildings here have already been open. And 43 giant pandas have moved into their new houses. This is the Panda Tower, a very popular landmark structure in the base. Don’t you think it looks like a standing bamboo shoot?
吉米：哈哈！这个建筑可是火到了国外呢！
Jimmy: Ha ha! I know it has also got popular even outside of China.
飞飞：实际上，2021年，大熊猫国家公园就正式设立了。大熊猫国家公园成都片区面积约占整个成都市的十分之一。是不是很酷？
Fei Fei: Actually, in 2021, the Giant Panda National Park was officially built. The Chengdu area of the park occupies one tenth of the city. It's fantastic, isn't it?
吉米：你知道吗，如果我把我来成都看熊猫的视频发给我老家的外国朋友看，他们会非常羡慕！
Jimmy: Yes, I believe if I send the video of my visit to the panda base to my friends in my hometown, they must be very envious of me.
飞飞：今天天气不错，我再带你去居民区看看吧
Fei Fei: It is fine today. I’d like to show you around the residential areas in the city.

飞飞：这里是东郊记忆艺术商圈社区绿道，也被评为了“成都10条最美回家的路”之一。
Fei Fei: This is the greenway in the art and business district surrounding the Eastern Suburb Memory Park. It is hailed as one of the ten most beautiful greenways in Chengdu.
吉米：确实漂亮！我看有儿童游乐园，那边有人在使用健身器材还有老人放风筝。年轻人在谈恋爱！天啦 我酸了！
Jimmy: Wow, it’s really beautiful! Along the way, there are amusement parks for kids and fitness equipment for the senior. The old people are flying kites, and young people are dating here. Oh, I confess to feeling a little jealous of them.
飞飞：哈哈哈！是的，大家生活得很幸福。成都已经连续13年获评“中国最具幸福感城市”第一名了。今年，在成都像这条这么漂亮的社区绿道还要修1000条呢！
Fei Fei: Ha ha ha! That’s true all people in the city lead a very happy life. Chengdu has been topping the ranking of China’s ten happiest cities for 13 straight years. By the end of this year, there will be 1000 more such beautiful ways in communities throughout the city.
吉米：对了，我南下飞到成都，好像看到了雪山，这是我不花钱就能看到的吗！
Jimmy: Oh, by the way, when I was flying south towards Chengdu, I saw the snow mountains below.
飞飞：在天气晴好的清晨和傍晚，都能看到雪山的身姿呢。过去一年中有63天都能在成都看到雪山，平均5天就能看到一次，“雪山下的公园城市”，妥妥的网红名片！
Fei Fei: The snow mountains can be seen very clearly on the mornings and evenings of sunny days. Last year, they were seen in the downtown of Chengdu in 63 days, once 5 days on average. So Chengdu is called as the “Park City at the Foot of Snow Mountains,” which it really deserves.
吉米：雪山……我爱了！！！
Jimmy: Snow mountains！I love them!
飞飞：对了，Jimmy，如果你来安家，我强烈推荐青龙湖湿地公园。
Fei Fei: Hey, Jimmy, if you want to live in Chengdu, I highly recommend Qinglong Lake Wetland Park.
飞飞：看到这片30000亩的青龙湖湿地公园了吗？都被咱们承包了！居住适宜度，100分！而且，6月成都将会举办大运会，大运村就在这附近呢！
Fei Fei: Look, we have a wonderful view of the 2000-hectare park. It is a perfect place to live. In June, the 2021 FISU World University Games will be held in the city, and the universiade village is right around here.
